Looks like spgftw is selling some nice 900 seats ...
How hard are those to fit in a 99? Would love some new seats before SOC

Certainly not plug and play. Might need to build some bracket adapters at the corners to get from the 900 to the 99 pickups for the fronts. I have done this to get Recaros to fit. Since those are from a 4 door they will not have the lever to release the seat back. Might be a problem for your 2 door notch. Might also be very entertaining?
The rears you could look at swapping the seat skin and foam if the brackets don't match.

Too late, those seats sold today.
Still have the airflow kit though! (Minus one wheel arch, and looking to buy one if a spare exists out there...)

Seems like a gimme for someone on this board, although a bit of a logistical challenge. Text of the ad below, no pics.
Three Saab 99s - $1500 (Westminster VT)
1980 Gli notchback, 1977 3dr turbo preproduction test car, 1977 3dr GL. The coupe has a five speed installed, actual Saab rally header & steering wheel, kinda goofy aftermarket wheels. Does not run. The GL is pretty awful looking, but runs and has a set of original Carroll Shelby rims with center caps which are straight but need refinishing. The 77 turbo is a mess but compete. Including test vehicle log book. A truck load of parts, more Shelbys, a set of Incas, several EMS & turbo front air dams, SPG bodykit panels, turbos, intercoolers, manifolds, intakes, injectors, all of it, some silly early SPG stuff, and a stack of factory manuals. I'm done. Take it. The scrap yard will give me $1000 so no lowball.

The pre-production car is alone is worth the $1500... the other two could be used for parts to get it restored. Someone here really ought to take it up as you'd definitely be saving a valuable car.

Anyone want to drive up or meet me to look at the test car/parts?

Westminister VT is not far from Hoosick NY, could check out the 79 as well.

I emailed the guy early today. He responded quick and said there is one person already set to see the cars today or tomorrow (not sure if that's you, Chouan). He said he would let me know if it doesn't work out and I'll shoot down after work. If it is you that has the appointment with him, I'd be glad to meet up and go with you!

FYI: Information about pre-production turbos from the description in a sale listing on vintagerally.net:

http://winktimber.com/vintagerallynet/c ... /index.htm

"In early 1977, Saab built 100 99 models with a turbocharged engine for evaluation purposes. All were in EMS trim, in both 2-door and 3-door body styles. Of the 100 "pre-production Test Cars" as they are now known, 37 were sent to the United States and placed in the hands of company execs, magazine writers, and loyal Saab customers known to drive a lot of miles in a short time."

Maybe it is the same 3dr.

Edit: Nope. Unless there is another 77 3DR test car in Westminster, VT this is the same car: http://www.saab99turbo.com/registry_detail.php?id=481

"City: Westminster
State: VT
VIN: 99771029504
Model Year: 1977"

"Condition
Horribly neglected New England car.

History
Have the log book, but nothing of interest in it. I've had this car for a long time, and didn't store it properly, though it was already in rough shape when I purchased it. I recently retrieved it from outside storage to find the shell rust to be beyond repair, so I procured a clean 80 GLi coupe and am planning to transplant the turbo drivetrain and test car goodies at some point this summer."
