That 77 99T was for sale a year or so ago. Its not too far from me and I wanted to go look at it but I was in the middle of travelling and buying other vintage SAABs :)
I have a friend who lives about an hour from Westminster who had a 3dr 77 turbo test car about 15 years ago. It could be the same car. He remembers the test car number so if we can find that out I can check with him to see if it was his.

Damn. That's one of the cleanest 99 interiors I've seen in a while.

JK88 and I have been talking about doing an Alaska road trip like the Pennsylvania Compound crew did a few years ago, but towing that thing back with us would probably be too much complication... but one can dream...

if it is a true 1970 it will have the every so dreamy triumph engine on board...you might want to factor in more time for the return trip My 71 had a brochure in the glove box that one owner had used for mileage records. There were notes on it with numbers like 34 mpg "stayed at 50 mph" etc. The gearbox also had the freewheel...something I didnt know existed on a 99 4 speed until the great Saab 99 field rescue

My thoughts exactly. Could have sworn I saw that Travelall back in 2012 parked outside of Missoula off highway 90 (?). Could have been a different one, but I don't remember ever seeing them in yellow. My father had a green 71 with a 345 that could not be killed. I wish it was still in the family
