it does appear to be a convertible spoiler and oddly placed to boot.
IDK what he's talking about but in 15 years he should have seen those wheels before.

nope, that was an accessory spoiler, belive it or not, its supposed to be mounted just like that. they look like crap if you ask me, like its about to fall off or something. ive seen a car with that spoiler and the stock spoiler before, still looked weird, very merkur xr4ti looking.

oh and the wheels are kinda weird, they arent the "manhole cover" aluminum wheels, theyre a hub cap replica of that wheel, definitely odd. there was a set of hubcaps that looked like inca wheels up on ebay recently.

IT ALSO HAS THE "SUNDIAL" WHEEL COVERS FOR THE FACTORY STEEL WHEELS WHICH IN MY 15+ YEARS OF BEING A SAAB ENTHUSIAST I HAVE NEVER SEEN(SEE PICS).

I'd say that in the 15 years of being a Saab enthusiast this guy hasn't opened his eyes much. I have seen those covers many times before....still not sure why someone would want to make their wheels look like manhole covers.

Too bad that car isn't a turbo. I've wanted an '84 900T 3dr, preferably in red, since I smashed mine up almost 12 years ago.

I've seen a few cars with that spoiler, kind of ugly. I think I've only seen those wheel covers once. I think they look better than the real manhole covers and the steel wheels they hide are probably more versatile! :-)
