it does appear to be a convertible spoiler and oddly placed to boot.

IT ALSO HAS THE "SUNDIAL" WHEEL COVERS FOR THE FACTORY STEEL WHEELS WHICH IN MY 15+ YEARS OF BEING A SAAB ENTHUSIAST I HAVE NEVER SEEN(SEE PICS).
I'd say that in the 15 years of being a Saab enthusiast this guy hasn't opened his eyes much. I have seen those covers many times before....still not sure why someone would want to make their wheels look like manhole covers.

Too bad that car isn't a turbo. I've wanted an '84 900T 3dr, preferably in red, since I smashed mine up almost 12 years ago.
I've seen a few cars with that spoiler, kind of ugly. I think I've only seen those wheel covers once. I think they look better than the real manhole covers and the steel wheels they hide are probably more versatile!
