This guy/shop's generic rotor picture keeps popping up on ebay. They sell for all sorts of cars using the same picture. Any opinions on these?

no idea. if you are running 900 knuckles on your 99 you could get a pair of front solid rotors from eeuro for $44
http://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/37355/D ... z2th3t2i93
or if you put the vented on about $130 for the pair of name brand rotors
http://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/37374/D ... z2th3t2i93
you could take the gamble and buy the ebay stuff. its cheap enough that even if its junk it wont be too much of a burn.

Re: Brake rotor opinions
I am not a big fan of the "slotted and drilled" rotors, The slots & holes tend to pack up with brake pad and rust, and seem to have lower lifespan than those without the slots & holes. China metal just seems softer.
I would probably just get some quality rotors from a known manufacturer - Zimerman, Brembo, or hell... even some of the "beck arnley" units seem to work just fine.
But I don't know for sure. Those rotors you posted might work just fine.

BALO rotors all the way(OE)! Zimmerman and ATE are good too. Brembo has been Chinese for years.
That said, I have a pair of the eBay drilled/slotted rotors on frankensaab and have not killed them yet. Of course, the car only sees a few dozen hard miles a year anymore...

Re: Brake rotor opinions
The latest set I got from Chris Rizzon for my 98 900 come with some sort of anodized coating on them that really helps to keep them from corroding. They seem to be holding up very well after a year of use and Vermont weather.

Re: Brake rotor opinions
I just got an email from eEuro the other day that said that the Meyle rotors they stock have a corrosion-resistant coating. Too bad I got some Brembros delivered the same day, the corrosion-resistant coating would be helpful in central NH.

Re: Brake rotor opinions
So the word on the street is there are only really three rotor manufactures in the world and I'm pretty sure they are all in China. The finishing/coating/QA process I'm sure takes place in different places and have different quality...but there you go.
