Hey guys, I'm running a set of bronze cups and Delrin bushings for one of the race cars and figured I'd have a small batch made if anyone else is in need. They will go up on the eeuro website sometime soon. I just got the prototypes back and they look great.
Also, I putting together some A-arm spacer tools as repros of the NLA'd SAAB ones. Not sure yet what finish I'm going to use yet, probably powder coat. Below is (rough) prototype.

Those brass cups look nice. On a related note, I have a spare manual 900 rack on the shelf here if anyone is interested. It's in decent shape, with just a minor amount of play on the inner tie rods. Probably could fix it up great with these cups. PM me if you want it. Glad to see someone building the parts to keep this rack an option!

Definitely interested in the rack pieces...
I have 2 manual racks, one 99 ems, and one 900 ems... and both need rebuilt.
I need inner tie rod kits for both too...

Well you need to check the type of rack you have too, some of the 900 manual racks I've seen are a little different and I'm not sure if they use the rebuild-able cups. Not sure how/why they are different, but I've seen them with my own eyes and the inners don't interchange. If they look link the 99 ones, then it should work.

Re: 99/900 Manual Rack Bushings & A-arm spacers
I would would probably invest in some A-arm spacers.
I made some spacers a couple years ago that work pretty good. They seem to put a lot of pressure on the sheet metal, definitely not perfect.
I have been considering swapping over to a manual rack, purely for sake of simplicity. I would have to be sure they were rebuildable though. PS pump is going to need to be replaced soon and I always loved the way my 80's Hilux steered haha.

I have used blocks of wood, pieces of steel, railroad spikes etc. to block the suspension....
I bought the actual Saab tool several years ago.
Jordan, is there a way to tell the difference in the racks without taking them apart?

I usually use scrap brake pads.

All those things work but they tend to crush that cross piece....unless you just put the blocks under the corners of the A arm like the Saab tool. We have discussed some on car mounts that would negate the need for the tool...such as a bracket that would have large threaded bolts that would be spun into place to stop the A arm should work need to be done. Would be a good solution for a rally/race car and prevent the ability to lose the actual tool.

I'd buy at least one set, two or more depending on price.

Soon, I think they will be about $40 a set.
Here is the idea for not losing them.

I like the remove before flight tag but it would be even better if it were about 3' long so you would see it hanging down.
