Accumulator for cis car

Postby swednlow » Tue Aug 26, 2014 10:15 am

Hi, everyone I am working on my 79 99 that i picked up. I got it running but now need a accumulator since it blew a huge pool of gas all over the ground(don't tell the EPA). I am located outside of Albany NY and would like to continue on this 99 adventure.

I bet if you called eeuroparts they could source one for you. If you had the Bosch part number that would help. The part number might possibly be in the factory manual. I seem to remember that Bosch only made a few different fuel accumulators so other cars use the same one that a 99 uses and they're probably available.
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off :eyebrows:

I got one from eeuro. They did not have one listed for the 78 99, but then I checked under the listing for a 79 900... bingo.

Any way there are lots of part numbers, just make sure the external dimensions are the same (there is a short version and a taller version).

I don't see it listed for even a 79 900. I'd update the fitment if I knew which number it was. Bosch doesn't seem to even list fitment

Now I had to look at my receipt. Wow, maybe I got the last one?

Fitment was SAAB 900 1981-1984. My bad on the 79 900, I forgot what I searched. Part has worked for ~7k miles in my 78 99 Turbo.
