Re: Wanted:
any 900 "big glass" door should be the same 79/80 I think? Also, notchback and 3 door doors are the same. That at least gives you a few more cars it can come off of...

Re: Wanted:
I have two doors from a 1988 SPG in black that will bolt up to your 99. I bought them for a '78 Turbo I was restoring, but never used them.

Re: Wanted:
But those are the small glass doors, with the plastic mirrors. I am thinking he wants the big glass ones?

Re: Wanted:
If I was restoring a 99, I would prefer a matching door also. I drove 16 hours round trip one day in 2003 to PA to retrieve two EMS doors when I was restoring the black 75EMS I had(it needed a passenger door). There might not be that many 99 doors available anymore, so I just thought I would make that an available option for him.
I think I still have the 99 driver side door, but I would want a pretty penny for it - considering I still have a 99 that could need one if there was an accident.

I have a few 99 / early 900 doors here too kicking around, however I would not use the word "rust free" on any of them. they would all require work.

Re: Wanted:
The SPG doors I bought from Jim Miller, and anyone who knows Jim would know that none of his cars ever get a chance to rust, or get dirty either. His SPG was involved in a front end collision - a drunk pulled out in front of him - so he salvaged as much as he could from the car. The car he bought soon afterwards was the '93 commemorative, and that car is legendary.
The pair of '76EMS doors I bought in Wernerville, PA. The car had an engine bay fire and the doors were salvaged. I didn't have to do any rust repairs on the passenger door I installed on my 75EMS.
All three doors have been in a barn since 2003-2004.

Re: Wanted:
Doug - I could be interested in the '76 drivers side door, if reasonable... my whole car running with 92K only cost me 1k! I located a rust free 99 one out West for $200 but the shipping is a deal breaker, however, I'll be driving thru Loraine next week on the way to Denver!
