Not picturing the part you are referring to. Can you take a picture of where it came off the car?

Here is the bracket,
First picture is a side picture and the second is of the direction of the bracket on the car, if you are looking a control are from the side!

Oh. You mean a passenger side front suspension rear a arm bracket. Thought you were referring to the rear suspension.

Saabguy, aren't the "studs" pressed in with serrated shanks? Couldn't you just replace it? Maybe have a shop weld on a new stud?

Self tapping studs from McMaster Carr, or frankly just weld in square headed bolts from mcmaster for extra strength.

I was just looking at this. The rear ones you can remove whole (fairly sure), the front ones if the studs are indeed just pressed in, you could probably just loosen em up, then smack em with an air-hammer - like you are knocking out a wheel stud, then remove the studs, and the pate separately from the car. This may be something that looks complicated but is actually simple. If that's not how they come out, the front ones went in before the front box-members went in, which is basically the frame... so those are a permanent resident of the car if that's the case.

Please don't weld anything in, the weld will take the heat treat out of the fastener right at the base of the threads, and then it will break, and you will have a very bad day.
Just press it out and measure, those pressed in studs are easy to get.

Perhaps I should have phrased that differently. I was a bit out of my brain at the time.
