F/S 73 99EMS and 72 99E, $1500obo for both.

So, thinning the herd, figured I'd start here first with these two, willing to make a really good deal for someone that wants both and is going to do something with them that doesn't involve scrapping them.

Pictures of the 73 are here http://s28.photobucket.com/user/PaulHav ... y/the%2099

the latest pics are the ones where its in the garage covered in dust and cat prints  . It's currently rockin' a set of incas that will come with the car, complete garbage tires. This car used to be a djet car, I got rid of that, and it's running megasquirt, runs great. Has no exhaust other than the header, stole it for something else, but it wasn't very good anyway. I swapped a 99t trans into it, so no messing around with the gear drive external slave crazyness that came with it. Also has 87 900 vented rotor front hubs, and bilstein shocks in the front. Shell is rusty, but in odd ways, looks better in pictures than it is, but probably still fixable if you're feeling ambitious. Has minimal interior, that's how I got it, and haven't had much luck finding early 99 pieces in any sort of good shape. It's got a passenger door panel, some 900 seats, a carpet, and that's about it. Clean PA antique title.

bought it for cheap locally a while back, body is surprisingly solid, engine and trans are unknown, but the intake manifold is missing as you can see in the pics. Not much other history with this one, other than it used to be California Burgundy, which is basically purple, which I think would look pretty awesome, but I'm kinda not right. Has a surprisingly nice, if a bit sunbaked interior, even has a good early non-foam headliner. Also has a clean PA antique title.

So, anybody want 'em? Make me some crazy offer, I'll probably take it, need them gone.

GLWS, I always liked that EMS in a Mad Max sort of way! In trying to sell some music equipment on another forum it seems like its either a crappy economy or just tax season and its a very cold market but hopefully you find a home for these. I'd offer to swap my notchback for the EMS but that doesn't quite thin the herd

I would be interested in the 73 if I didn't already have 50 half finished projects.

Copper coral is a really great color, the photos don't really do it justice. It kind of has a metallic flake look to it.
There is no such thing as too low or too stiff.

Yeah, probably because it's a metallic color. Though it is pretty oddball since it was before clear coats, so it's a single stage metallic color, vs. most metallic colors since the 80's or so which are basically always base/clear.

I am unable to see the red car pictures, is there an alternate link?

What is rusty about the copper color car?

Thanks,
scott
I wish my car had winter mood technology.

Don't have another link, not sure why it wouldnt work... The copper car isnt that bad, floors are solid, but theres a fair bit of general surface rust all about, and the passenger side control arm could use some help. Driver fender has some rot, as do the spots in the front of the the rear wheels where the little rubber protector things usually mount. Certainly not the rustiest 99 i've ever seen, but definitely photographs better than it is.

If it wasn't for the fact that I need less cars, not more, I'd say sure.

So if anybody is on the fence due to cost, or having to take both, shoot me a PM, we can figure something out if you're not going to just part the car out.

Whatever happened with that 900 with 868 miles? Did you do anything more with it and is it for sale?

Red one is on ebay with new pics, http://www.ebay.com/itm/111696495955?ss ... 1555.l2649 Still haven't gotten a chance to dig the copper one out of hibernation yet, but it's still for sale, even though I'm desperately trying to figure out a reason to keep it.
