is it stamped in the same place as a later one? I know nothing about these. case has the similar looking gussets as a chillcast 4 speed box.

there were several chillcast gearboxes including an earlier gear drive one. though the Chillcast doesnt mean much in the long run.

I guess I just mean in comparison to the chillcast chain drive 4 speed I am familiar with. I have both variants of those.
