Re: Wanted: B202 oil pump
Yup so far as I can tell the og housing can't be reused
I have a housing Pn: 751557
Came with gear that only had one notch on the crank driven gear.
anyone know if this housing is usable?

Re: Wanted: B202 oil pump
Have you found a source for either the gears or the cover?
The block I'm rebuilding had a seriously scored timing cover/pump cover and gears. I grabbed a used one that has pretty light scoring but I'm having trouble telling if the end float is slightly in spec or out of spec. How scratched/scored is too scored to use?
I've seen people on other forums suggest either milling or sanding (With 2000 grit wet/dry on a sheet of glass) the mating surface on the pump cover to bring end float back in spec but I don't know how that would turn out.
