hard to tell from the photos but it looks surprisingly solid. but without seeing the inner wheel wells or underside its a bit of a risk

Thank you .. I bought it for $400 and put countless hours and dollars into it. Still, I don't think I've done anything on the level that you have with 006!

It's so close too. If Deb didn't want me to rescue a 67 Nissan Patrol for sale locally, it would be easy to make a 78T out of it.
As for rust risk, it's an Oregon car. I would not worry too much about rust. It just doesn't happen out west...unless you are in Utah.

I once took the train (& a bus) to Springfield to buy an aircooled VW Van for $805
(the $5 was to mail back the SAAB keys he left in the van)
Ran great. On 3 cylinders. Though Portland trips were treacherous.
Looks like this olde 99 got snatched up tho.
Someone will just to buy my notch. Clearing up my estate and currently don't GAF about SAABs.
