Based on the interest in Luke's thread for another round of adjustable cam sprockets I'm making another batch.

These will fit B202, B212, and early '90-'93 B234. These allow you to time custom cams, mess with overlap, and to compensate for a cylinder head that has been cut thin enough to throw off the factory cam timing.

At this time I am planning to make 12 sets.

They will be identical to the original batch, and will include the modification I had to make later to make sure the chain links do not touch the aluminum hubs.

The indexed adjustment goes from -10 to +10 camshaft degrees from nominal. (For reference, one tooth on the sprocket is ~9.5 camshaft degrees).

These are made from 6061-T6 aluminum for the hubs, steel sprockets with hardened tooth faces, grade 10.9 metric fasteners, and a hardened steel dowel pin that clocks the hub to the notch in the end of the cam.

I have had a set of these in my car for ~10k miles now with no issues.

Quick update.

The sprocket blanks I ordered 3 weeks ago finally shipped and should be here next week.

I dug through the old CAD files and will make the fixtures and start machining probably next week once I cross a few things off my list of stuff at work. I'll throw up some photos when I start cutting metal.

Added tirediron to the list, which brings the list so far up to 10 sets spoken for.

Big box o' sprocket blanks showed up today, and adding Nate to the list, so 11 sets spoken for so far.

I didn't make any progress over the long weekend because I was too busy having fun, but life and work look like they are slowing down a little bit, so I hope to have more meaningful updates soon!

I just found out I have to move the end of this month (overlapping when I'm on vacation) so I'm paused working on these for the next few weeks unfortunately.

I have the sprockets and hardware and have the tooling made, it's just getting time to get on the machines to cut everything. I'll try to get some photos up soon of progress so far.

I owe you all an apology. I've had some things going on with family and a close friend the past few months that have derailed all my projects, but these are definitely still near the top of my list.

I have all the raw materials and hardware and stuff here at my desk, I just haven't had a chance to get down in front of the machines after hours and start making chips.

For those of you who I'm holding up I'm really sorry, I'll try to get more progress updates to you as I can. This is a really good thing for me to get the fire lit under my own ass, so fear not.
