Speaking of 99s that nobody besides the people on this board would have touched...
I'm going to rescue some parts from this poor thing. If anyone is interested in anything let me know!

There is set of Soccer Balls, a second 1700 Triumph motor, second freewheel gearbox other bits.

I'll see if I can figure out a way of replacing the wheels. The owner needs to have it removed.

I can see some parts I would love straight away. The radiator grill and headlamp surrounds ;)
Problem is, I'm in the UK :bawl:

I have shipped Saab parts to Sweden, France, Israel, Netherlands, etc. No problem shipping to the UK.

The grille/head light surrounds have (unsurprisingly) a lot of interest! madwelshman you are the third person in line.

Let me know what else you are interested in.

That doesn't actually surprise me to be honest Chouan
From the pictures, I don't see anything else at present I need that could be shipped at a sensible cost as they are larger items like the front/rear bumpers with over riders.
If you would keep me in mind regarding the headlamp surrounds and grille please if the other interested parties don't have them, it would be appreciated. Do you have an idea as to what money you would be after for them please? (pm me if you'd prefer)

Thanks
Will

Chouan - what style steel 4.5 rims are you looking for ?
Seems there have been 4 or 5 different ones ?

The metal bumpers are really tempting.

Does anyone know if the mounts for them are the same as are on my '73 that came with the big black rubber bumpers?

They are not. That doesn't mean that a mildly talented fabricator couldn't come up w/ something suitable.
Didn't Geoff do that a while back?

Not yet...
From memory, the rears may not take too much modification to fit (since the later brackets come off right at the body). The fronts use 4 mount points on the later cars which are welded in and protrude forward from the body. The stainless bumpers use two mounts that attach inboard on the body (near the 'frame rails'). So two or maybe all 4 of the later front mounts would have to be cut off.
