Holy crap, I'm shocked it went that high!
My boss used to own 99's and 900s back in the heyday and was following that auction while I was trying to convince him to bid on it, thats some serious money for that car!!

I don't know... part of me says that it's neat that some of these cars are selling for big $. The other part of me says that if market prices get driven up many of the long-time enthusiasts get driven out of the market or feel like they can't drive the cars they already have because they're suddenly worth too much.
