My apologies if this is posted elsewhere on the board; didn't see it on a cursory search...

I hope someone can save these from the crusher...

Guy's name is Tim Nines. He's in Frankinton (sp?) NC. Probably the best pure-nature trained engineer I've ever met! I bought my 99 rally car shell from him in like '96 I think. Dragged it back to NH behind an '85 SPG...long story.

Anyway, his junkyard is, or at least was a very cool place to hang out and had lots of cool stuff.

El Blanco out.

Andrew just left with one well packed Subaru containing 12 rims and some kid that looks suspiciously like Ted Mendham strapped into the car seat.

Ohh man I would love to find one of these in my backyard. North Carolina doesnt seem that far away when you start thinking of rust free shells like that.

The Tedneck Engineering/Rensport Crew Chief isn't quite sure what to make of that... He already has two rallies under his belt before he turned 8 months old! At the rate I'm going, the Merkur "rally shell" will be a vintage project for Avery!

Wheels are now taking up space in my garage, will pack them in my Subie wagon for the drive up Friday morning. I've even been researching codriver licensing options in the event Mike's car is ready for Tall Pines.

pfft, damn thing is in better shape than mine from the looks of it!

the pink one there is kinda odd, probably a very chalked out red car...i'll take one of any one of those 99's happily. the citroen is pretty sweet too.
