Help fund the new SAABRALLY.COM rally car!
John and I decided to go for a peltor system for next year, so thats why I am selling. It's always worked well, only difference between club and pro that I know of is pro has an aux output for a recorder. I should also mention that the headset is the noise canceling model. We also decided to go for the brantz that has a speed display since the stock speedo is never very accurate and we've had some close calls at the "O" controls.

I meant to check out that seat when I was at your house over thanksgiving.....but then I forgot to ask and remembered when I was about 30 miles away. I need a more comfy seat for the 99, and another for the new 900 as I am just too tall for the worn out stock ones. I might take you up on that offer.

I am not going to make any claims that it is a good as a real clutch pack LSD, but for the money it did make a noticeable difference over an open diff, especially on gravel.
The seat is pretty heavy, I can try to weigh it but I fear it might be prohibitively expensive to ship. I could deliver to all rallies next year, carlise and the SAAB convention.

I have one in my 99. When I spin the tires on dirt, both wheels spin. Then the car takes off faster. The car also pulls through the corners better and hooks up better than with a stock differential. This is on a car with only around 100hp and 100ft-lb of torque. I drove Luke's car with a clutch pack differential and it had a stronger lockup and pulled through corners better. His car had around 300hp and 300+ ft-lb of torque.
I did another experiement where I put one wheel on top of a wet piece of wood with a wet sheet of plastic on top of it. I put a 6"x6" block of wood in front of the other wheel to try to keep the car from moving forward. It climbed right over the block of wood. I tried the same experiment with a stock non-turbo 900 and the wheel on the wet sheet of plastic just spun and the car didn't move.
For the money it is a decent unit but I don't know how it would be affected by more power.
