Excellent, This is the place on the WWW for Saab Rally info...
I love you quote "We have a little bit of work this winter."
That is a pretty impressive list of goodies.

Welcome! Most of the unique SAAB rally literature I have, I've posted to the forum (and you've found :yay: )

Most of the parts you're looking for a very rare in the US (except the grille and headlights which are only as rare as the cars, which are rare). Do you have to use the factory homologated parts or can you build replicas?

Are there any Porsches in Swedish junkyards (scrapyard, salvageyard)? I did a search online for junkyards in the US and the Porsche parts you need showed up, but none are in my area of the country.

I always wondered and maybe someone knows the answer... those porsche 914 rear brakes that were used on the works car, were the rear axle mounting tabs modified? I measured some 914 brakes once and the 0<------->0 spacing was different than the saab...

I saw on a Swedish website somewhere that they were modified. I remember there was some welding and re-drilling going on. I had run across some posts of a works car that was being restored.

Welcome! Any idea what the bosch part number on the 928 fuel distributor is? I've seen a couple of those in junkyards, might be able to locate one for you, but not if its a Euro spec one or something like that.

I have a 6 cylinder fuel distributor....think it came from a Volvo 240 turbo. I had an 8 Cylinder one from a Mercedes but I sold it a while ago.
I am the 73%

If Im not mistaken its not just the fuel distributor thats different but also the metering plate... the saab and most other CIS are flow up and the porsche is a flow down...
