Great...another forum to monitor
i'm in central florida and have a 87 900 n/a that I'm building as a track toy. It has been a very slow process so far. It is still street legal but being built up to SCCA ITB rules but have been running a little autoX and PDX in the meantime. Have a tiny budget, and try to do much with little resources. Hope to get some ideas and guidance from this community.

Welcome!
Yes, I think there are now more SAAB related forums out there now than SAAB 99's left on the road. SAABnet used to be cool until about 1994 when its interface became outdated and Scott moderates the site. SAABcentral seemed ok for a while but became overridden with ads and is generally a jumbled mess of forums and sub-forums. SAABlink is ok if you like having to navigate through 5 pages of posts to get a paragraph of information because 90% of the thread is taken up with some dumb kids poorly photoshopped banner photo.
We try to keep this site clean, the clutter down, and the content rich and hope to attract more of the diehards and more experienced people from other sites over here.

Cool, welcome! What kind of progress have you made?
There's another forum member that I seem to remember is from FL and has a track 900.

The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off

I read this forum and two Swedish forums .. the saablink and saabcentral sites are really difficult to read. Too much advertising.

Project build thread coming. Slowly. I presently have no internet, so I do this all from a phone which can be tedious.
