Hi,

I'm Paul, a Dutch Saab freak! Just new here and looking for information to make my (just bought) 96V4 (72) a nice classic rally car.
Looking for the original looks and traditional tuning.

I also own a 9-3 SE Aero and a 900 Classic S (+ 200 Bhp).

Hej då
Paul

Hi Paul,

Welcome here at saabrally. You're definitely on the right forum for your concerns.

Welcome Paul,

Is the 96 a rally car already, or do you intend to build it into one?

Theres not too many on this site that have V4 rally cars, but I know that we all love them!

Lets see some pics when you get a chance!

Thanks Luke!

We will do a rebuild, not me (unfortunately I'm not that technical) but my garageguy will do that for me (www.haaima-automobielen.nl).

When I pick it up in Sweden, I will start posting pictures, no problem!
It can take some time before it is ready, but we'll get there!

P.

Welcome! It's always fun to see another historic SAAB rally car project!
It sounds like, if you don't have them already, you'll need to get some historic equipment like a Halda, maybe a roof mounted spotlight, a Sonett rear axle is always nice if you can find one (they're stronger), and of course some nice engine tuning, maybe a differential and gear set if you can find them.
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off :eyebrows:
