Hello!
I recently picked up a 1960 Saab 93f and am in the process of educating myself in all ways Saab
Neat little car with lots of fun knobs and levers! I've always had a soft spot for funky vehicles... all we really see at car shows around here are 60's-70's muscle cars painted red, green, black , and orange Don't get me wrong I dig some muscle cars just not all the time!
Anyway, back to the Saab... Its in pretty decent shape, the previous owner took care of the rust issues with new floor pans and upgraded to an 850 under the hood. I'd like to tune the engine down the road, and go for a vintage rally look/feel but thats a ways off yet.

I was watching that one on ebay. If i'd been closer I would have bid. I ended up with this little guy that has a freshly rebuilt engine but one ugly redone interior! It'll be a good rolling cosmetic resto...

Wow, nice car! I get the honor of co-piloting this '61 96 on occasion
Yours looks like a nice driver and nice stock example.

Welcome! That must be the one that Tom Donney was selling. I'm in the process of making my '64 96 into a runner, see the thread here.

Welcome. Looks like you picked up an awesome example.
Re: Howdy! Noob with a Saab 93f
Yup it was the one Tom had for sale. He had done the mechanical nasty bits and rust repair so it was perfect. The seats are ooogly but not a major issue. I had just finished an eight year frame of resto of a military truck so this seemed like a nice, small, mellow project.

Lots of people on here would be totally into hearing about that, the 'Photos' subforum would be a good place.
