Hello all. I just bought my first Saab, an 85 Turbo. Vintage Toyota Corollas have always been my first love but I do not limit myself to just one car or brand. (I really am just a "car enthusiast") I have a few good friends that REALLY like Saabs. (mostly classic) Being a Mechanic by trade I have been helping them wrench on C900s and the like for years, cursing the Saab name the entire time. I recently swallowed my pride, revealed my secret longing for a C900, and bought one from one of the aforementioned "friends".
Anyway, yeah. My name is Nathan, and I have a Saab.
Looking forward to soaking up some information, especially since the one I bought has a rotted wiring harness. I think that will be the topic of my 2nd post.
Finally came out of my Saab closet.

Welcome, Nathan. I'm glad you're finally out of the closet, and that someone other than me will get that '85T back on the road (again).

Welcome, Nathan! So glad you are here on SaabRally and finally got over your fear of owning a Saab, I think co-driving my 900 during rallycross helped with that!
This is THE place for the 99/900 info, these guys know a lot.

My first one was an '85 SPG - you'll get really good at figuring out electrical weirdness this way.
Welcome.

Jordan Pagano is a member here on the forum, he can provide you with the perfect solution for your 85 wire harness problem.
He makes some really righteous wire harnesses to convert classic Saabs to run on Trionic engine management. All the pieces are easily found in junkyards, or here on the forum.
You came to the right place!
