My name is Gary Reider. I've been around for 65 years. Started working on SAAB's in 1964. Worked for a dealer until 1971 when I went into a repair business with a partner( lasted 5 years). I then built a shop at my home and stayed a SAAB independent until 1999. I got out of SAAB repair except for a few faithful customers for 10 years. I retired in 2009 and started working in my shop more often. In 2012, I got the SCCA / PHA hillclimbing bug again after 40 years. I met Jason Morris and we seem to hit it off. I live near Boyertown PA. I have a 93 900s, a 1968 Sonett v-4, two 9-5's( a sdn & a SW). I also keep my daughter and grandson's SAABs running. Most of my experience was in 2 strokes, V-4, classic 99, 900 etc. I have been teaching myself to work with 9-3 and 9-5 cars.
I see that there are a lot of SMART YOUNG GUYS on this site . I'm really interested in building a 2.0 turbo using T-5 or T-7 for my 93 900 hillclimb car. I can't let Jason get too far ahead of me. Looking forward to actually meeting some of you guys and girls at some events. On my end vistors are always welcome.

Welcome aboard Gary!

I see you didn't take my suggestion for your Saabrally handle, (EZReider). LOL!

Most definitely the place to be if you want to race around in an old SAAB. No doubt there are some great engineering minds on this forum.

Welcome, I think a few people here can help out with getting the T5 equipment together. The nice thing is you can fix everything yourself!
