Hey folks!

Picked up this gem of a '95 900s on the cheap a couple of months ago. So far I've had a blast hunting through the junk yard for various parts (terrible aftermarket shift boot/knob swapped back to better than OE piece from '02 9-3se, now without lockout; later shift linkage; some matching wheels from another OG9-3; and some Hellas so i don't have any more encounters with our wild friends in the neighborhood...etc...) and generally tinkering with it...much to my wife's dismay.

I'm still working through some issues in the engine bay (slightly high idle once warm and new CEL after latest vacuum fix coupled with suddenly lower than actual MPGs on SID...), but I've managed to turn it into a reliable commuter getting about 30 MPG.

I'm hoping to get into rallycross, but the local SCCA has moved the venue from about 10 minutes down the road to the far end of MD, about 2 hours away...either way I'm going to try to make it out to the mid-season school/event.

So...I'm looking forward to getting into the forums!

Thanks for the heads up

I've thought about them before (they were like $20-$25 on EEuro a while back, but I don't think I can justify the expense, especially with the Hellas to help out the high beams

Lamps not lenses? Keep me in mind.

CPettit, you should roll out to Carlisle for the day on Sat the 17th if you can.

well technically lenses... but the stock lights on the NG900 are the same as the Euro ones but with different lenses. I put the Ecode lenses on my car shortly after I got it and they were a 100% improvement over the stock ones.

Welcome! An NG900 for rallycross is actually probably a pretty good idea!

I learned last year that they in fact have no level inside the housing and have an aiming motor on the back.

Cpettit, almost every weekend is something diff. The Oddball Euro cars is the 16-18th of this month.

All those euro cars have sweet headlight aimer switches for the driver...my bmw had them over there too...what would be cool is to actually hook the system up so you don't have to mess with an awkward socket extension thruogh that little hole under the hood...

Thanks, Tweek, good to know about Carlisle
