Luke, do you restore your own wheels, or have them done?
I wish my car had winter mood technology.

Well, it's not a 16V, but it is progress!!

If you look closely you can see where we squeezed a power steering pump onto the B motor...

The headers had been in my storage pile since Mike White moved out of his house in NH. Now they go back into service :yay:

Does anyone have the wiring, connector, and ignition box for a 99 turbo or later 99 with electronic ignition?

Coil over turrets are still in the front and were never in the back of this car. We are running the stock suspension design for this one...which should be....interesting. We have been rather spoiled with high hp and amazing suspension. Now we have half the engine, twice the gearbox, and a third of the suspension. Should be fun

The good thing is that the 16v head has been reunited with the actual car that originaly had the 16v engine that won the Boucles de Spa (correct?). That and the monetary transfer helped ease some of the pain I am sure. I believe Luke also has all the programs for machining the head...which in itself is a major value. So if any other head materializes in need of finishing.... And in theory...we could cast some new ones...but if you really want a 16v head there is a way to put a new Saab head on a B block.

Looks like a tight squeeze on that PS pump.
I used the stock PS pump and bracket from a B-engine 900 but that was probably even tighter than what you've got.
Is the alternator over where the alternator sits on an H engine 900?

The PS pump actually fits pretty well. It is very similar to the fit on the 16v cars. The alternator is over in the area where a 900 alternator sits....this is a very tight spot with minimal room for belt adjustment so proper belt size is key.

Yeah, its a tight but workable place for the P/S. I really wanted to keep the P/S in this car as the chassis is already setup for it and the column has a quickener. Plus it just makes the car so much more fun to drive on stage.... I would have done the 900 B motor P/S stuff as I actually had all the mounts for that, but the problem is with the carb manifold the stock location for the alternator needs to be moved down to where the alternator goes on a H motor. I actually used the factory drawings for alternator brackets the 16V B motor and it worked out well. Its also tight, but workable. I made a decent tensioner setup using an assortment of B202 AC/alt/PS stuff.
I'll post some more detail pictures of the brackets.

When Tom built my car he made a custom bracket, sort of an "H" shape that mounted the alternator where you have yours. This allowed for dual belts. I forget how the belts were tensioned. I can't find that bracket now. Can you send me the drawing you used?
