I may soon have that brown corduroy sportcoat with the suede patches on the elbows. I'm still shopping for the vintage ray ban aviators to go with it. You can borrow them for a photo shoot. You'll have to supply the light tan Dockers and docksiders.

Nice photo of a very nice car.
Is the windshield lock seal strip the same as later c900s, and if so, could you post a p/n and source?
If you have Saab OCD (based upon your 16v B motor build, I think it's pretty certain you do ) and are striving for a totally period-correct look, the early corner lights had a white strip between the orange and white lenses -- the black came later (not sure when).
(Yes, I am to have bothered to store such details upstairs.)

Right there with ya.... I've got a set or two of white stripes, but they arent in as nice of shape as the blacklines that I've got on there (some small stress cracks) , and you are the first person to notice!

I had a pair of the corduroy sport and rally seat covers...still have at least one of them. I'd like to have some new ones made up as they actually worked well at transforming a stock seat into a "sport" seat and they looked nice too. hmmm maybe wrong thread

Beautiful '79 !
makes me wonder how much from my '79 99 coupe is in common with the 900.
Guessing you'll keep everything, but if for some reason you had some parts to trash/sell, shoot me a message, maybe I can use em

Between the notchback 99 and hatchback 900. They pretty much only share the same drivetrain.

Thread revival. Freaking live this car. Is it your DD, Luke? Or did you store it?
