Holy Gumballs!

what size tire and rim, offsets etc? Im looking at doing something similar on my 84 notchback project, but I want to use 15 inch tires and 8 inch wide wheels.

They look cool sitting still, keep us posted on how they handle. My big concern is the effect on scrub radius. Im gonna modify the fenders to fit the tires, but it looks like they may rub at full lock on your car (at least up front).

aero race wheels, 13x10", 4x4 1/4" bolt pattern, with a 3 inch back space, 69.86 to 65.1 hub centric adapters, lug stud converted, used hoosier race slicks off ebay 22x10x13 front 20x9x13 rear, i think the whole set up cost like $400

i drove it around last night about 2 turns of the wheel till it hits the fender so in a competition setting it shouldn't be a issue, turning the car around is a diffrent story :silent: as far as it hitting the fenders over a bump or compression it hasnt yet but i was driving on a wet road.....

Regarding fogging windows: Get a squeege meant for drying your car- this works great for controlling window fog when defrost is absent/non functional.

We used one of these electric defrosters

in conjunction with a weak aftermarket heater at STPR. It worked well enough to clear a hole for the driver to see.

been busy lately got some stuff done.

1. got the misfire sorted out car is running 100%

2. blew up holset.... rebuilt it....

3. raced it.....felt really good here's a in-car- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSHAS3L_SFU

after that run i popped the hood and saw that my dipstick puked oil all over the engine bay... so i retired from the rest of the event and now iam working on rebuilding the motor

I like your garage. Every time I see it there's a different turbo laying on the floor.

I think those barbed fittings will be nicer than some of the plastic stuff that gets slippery or breaks. I'm not a fan of the multi-barbed fittings though. They flare the tube too much and give you less tube retention. If the tube can relax after the first barb it holds better. We've done tests at work to prove it. The machined brass have sharper barbs than the molded plastic. Those with some zip ties around them and you probably won't have to reattach vacuum lines after each run. ;)
