Oh man, get some paint on that ASAP! I can already see the rust forming on that bare metal! Are you going to shoot it yourself?

Well, I originally thought I just wanted a shot of clear coat over that gnarly 'end of the century' stipple that is bead blasting .. but, I will probably end up doing the original color: Coral White WH02.
I'd like to do brushed gun metal, but the wife says we already own a car with that configuration.
She wants coral white .. not a hot white, but a cream. Paint code is WH02 I believe.

There was a mint-white (don't know the name) around '79 '80 that was pretty nice. Its white with a tiny bit of light green tint to it. But original colors are always nice to match the paint inside the engine bay, etc.
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off

I always though this ford color would look good on a 99....its called "Legend Lime"
I am the 73%
Re: '77 99 GL 5DR
It will be single stage paint though .. maybe I could go with one of the GLE colors .. like champagne or silver.

Re: '77 99 GL 5DR
The seats are done. I came up with a design based on the Sonnett's
Sonnett bucket with grey fabric padding like this:
My seats (passenger)
The rear bench
The head reset inserts will be done in black as well.
No More Duct Tape!!

Thats right, my back seat never had an arm rest. I'm guessing that came in the EMS or GLE for 77. The back of the seat will have a dark gray 'trunk liner' similar to the original brown material. The whole trunk will be done in the dark gray, including the two foam pieces that have the brown vinyl on them.
Here is what the back of the headrest looks like. Originally he tried fabric, but the vinyl worked better. The little kinks
here and there still need to get stretched out, but yeah its turning out better than I expected.
I needed to at least get the seats or one seat done so I could drive it around after it gets painted (and I get a windshield). :) months away ...
