Here's a fun pic. Both of these A arms are from a 2001. Can we guess which one is from texas and which one is from upstate ny?

Time to fix all of the frame related issues that were created upon removal. First up, the subframe bushes which were seized in there pretty well. I sued a die grinder to cut them out one by one. Tedious but effective.

One of the sway bar bolts broke under arm strength on my 1/2" (big surprise) Drill alignment tool made from the backing plate for some strange cooling fan i took from the RIT engineering scrap pile years ago.

Harbor freight tapping tool, snap on tap.
And finished... Wikipedia tap table is very useful.

Rusted "dog" (according to the parts catalog) This subframe nut and remnants of bolt is stuck way up in the unibody.. I cut the end of the remains of the stud using a die grinder in order to remove it..

This de-ruster works, unlike the stuff they sell at autozone, and it does its job in minutes.

I want my subframe to look like that! this was on my planned "to do" list, but had the bushes checked and they are all ok for now. So I get to jump ahead to other projects, which right now appears to be a new turbo... maybe an 18t. Dropping the DP today to find out for sure.

where did you first meet?

Think of the scene in The Wire when Bunk Meets McNulty. That was basically how it went down.

I think we actually met when I used to hang around with max at RIT, most likely one of the times when we went to buffalo wild wings (when it was still cool) or one of the times when max needed a really big guy to hit his newgen with a sledge to break the e-brake cables free.
