I made the same suggestion Shanti, that and using the wrong vacuum signal from the TB.

My advice would be to verify what is actually working first. If nothing changed since the LH-> T5 conversion mechanically, I wouldn't suspect those components, but, what ever stuff you changed, verify their operation. I've seen sticky injectors, bad FPRs, bad MAP sensors etc. Not to mention countless wiring mistakes.

Check for continuity to all of the ECM pins to the end connectors to verify everything is connected to the right place. Go by the factory T5 manuals or T5Suite manuals, preferably not stuff written up online, I've seen many mistakes and misinformation out there.

Verify the CPS is mounted with correct air gap and timed correctly. (At engine TDC you should be 20 teeth off from the trigger wheel gap)

Now that the pressure is somewhat off it will be easier to methodically go through each component and make sure all is well.

Also, plug in your damn check engine light!

Jordan , don't forget that brand new Bosch crank sensor that died after 15 minutes on my T-5 car. I would suggest wiring up an OBD 2 plug to pull codes with a generic tester or even better a Tech 2.

Your advise is right on point though -- Take things slow , check all the pin connections from ECU to sensor and get a GOOD BOOK.

T-5 is still the way to go !!

Cool project . What have you done for the hood connections ? I saved a little more weight by ditching the interior door handles and attaching cables across instead.

RHD Nice !! never saw one up close. Some nice touches on the car. I like the relays way up there under the windscreen. Do you have a roll bar in that car? Just what kind of events are you running ?

Yes, I did test the FPR. I tried to suck fuel through the vacuum line port and it seemed intact.

I will be going back to the drawing board and mapping out the harness on paper first.
Then removing all the extra wires to simplify the harness.
