Yet another yellow '73
This is a first for me (forum build/documenting with pics) so go easy on me. I've been following Drews yellow ems notch build and no way could i hold a stick to his build up. Here are some early pics. She's a 1973 ems out of so. cal. and so far not a spec of rust anywhere. i plan on building up as an auto-x with dreams of vintage W2W.Not my first saab but my first vintage so forgive me for pounding you guys with all the questions. http://s1113.photobucket.com/albums/k52 ... Sweet car! You'll get it there, at least you can drive yours right now!
Under the carpet of your car looks just about exactly what mine looked like, nice find!
*************
For photos, you need just the web address for the photo itself.
Choose a photo you want to insert.
If you click one of your photos to enlarge it, you get a page like this.
Then right click on the image, and select 'Copy Image Location'.
If you paste what gets copied into a new window/tab to test it, what you past should be this:
http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k52 ... ch/457.jpg
(The *.jpg extension at the end shows you it's a jpeg image address, as opposed to a web page address that would end in .htm or .html or .com or whatever)
Go back to your post, and above the text frame is a shortcut button that says 'Img' for 'Image.' Click that and you get this inserted into your post:
The cursor shows up in the center, then just paste your stored text for the image address and you get this:

You dont even need the photo to exist on the web. We're so awesome at Saabrally.com you can upload photos directly from your computer here. For Free!
When you're writing or editing a post just use the "attach file" section under the reply and it will be available to use in you post.

Yeah, don't feel bad.
I can't get my Mac to de-size my files so I can upload them so I've had to reduce the res on my camera for pics I want to post here...

I'm not sure what the limit is, but it isn't THAT small...
Open Image in Preview. Tools menu -> Adjust Size...
Change to 72 dpi
I'd think that would be enough, but you can scale down either horizontal/vertical as well.. any dimension above 1500 pixels is kind of over kill for the internet.

I think its 264kb. I use Irfanview because it's pretty simple and it's free. Open picture, Save As, adjust slider to reduce image quality, click Save.
