Is that bulk carpet trim to fit, or did you find some pre- molded? Open cell foam for the sound deadening?

bulk no sound deadening i want to try to keep some weight off..how i wish that would have put a flat floor pan in the 99 ..drops off both sides and arches front to back and where the rear pan (rear seat) all kinds of crazy throw some brake and fuel lines in just for fun...of every car i've played with this has the most un-uniform pan design and trust me i am no pro and i don't do this for a living so please go easy on me..hoping to finish up today

Looking good, that is why I had to ask it was a premolded carpet. Flat floors are for chumps.
Having lips and ridges to make it a tub creates rigidity. Think of it as a brownie pan vs a cookie sheet.

For where?

If you have any free time (nobody has that anymore) I'd still like to pay you to pull the rear seat fabric off if you still have it.

What are you doing for door panels? I need a green driver's door card for my brother's white '73.

The carpet really does look like you did a good job getting it fitted, the car is really taking shape.

What weatherstripping do you need? I used C900 seals on the doors and around the rear windows in my yellow car, they're pretty close.

good to know..every seal on the car is not useable..now i need to track down a c900..what did you use for the trunk seal?..hoping to find something universal in the next week or so but everything was so flat and de-formed it's hard to tell what the original size was

I have the inner stiffening skin cut out of my trunk, so I actually used a C900 3-door hatch seal cut shorter, and with some cutouts to make more room for the hinges. It's too thick and the trunk doesn't close as easily, but it doesn't really rain here, and this isn't a daily.

I bet if you just go peruse a junkyard you'll be able to find something pretty easily from any old large American car that has a contact seal like that.

McMaster-Carr also sells C-channel seals that push onto the seam by the foot - you could measure your old one and get something similar.

4 door 900 trunk seals actually fit remarkably well.

I will have to grab one next time there's a 4-door in a junkyard, thanks for the tip.

Wow Awesome, halfway between batman and mad max, color scheme wise. I've a dumb question, how'd you get the carpet to follow the contours of the pan? Just cut and split? Looks to me like some sort of adhesive as well. I know nothing about such stuff but would like to do something similar to mine.
