Fan Casing removal

Postby sjones » Mon Apr 23, 2012 10:58 pm

So step 1 is to remove the engine?

I think someone said they could get it out by removing the alternator and valve cover, is that right?

Are you talking about the heater core/fan? Confused.

Yes the blower/heater core, the shop manual calls it the 'Fan Casing' so I thought it was best to use its terminology. It also suggests to first remove the 'Power Plant' but I seem to remember someone telling me it was possible to get it out with less effort.
