I got it figured out. It was clear enough to make out the general mounting and it made sense once I looked at the actual part.

EDIT: It is indeed K-Jet, not D-Jet, I'm not sure what I was thinking. It should be D-jet since it is a 74 though? I thought they switched in 75.

It is non-lambda though.

Ugh, I need glasses (or a computer), maybe I read the year as '1977' on my phone :silent:
Actually I probably thought we were talking about this one, was just over there, apparently 99s are making a comeback :P

Unfortunately not much, just a little tinkering with the wiring.

Work on the Miata along with some maintenance on the motorcycle means that I haven't had much motivation to work on it lately. I am thinking about selling it to fund my trip to the rallycross national challenge in October but I'll keep working on it slowly until someone wants to buy it.

I decided to do a little work on the Saab today. I got the header back on and finished hooking the wiring up in the engine bay. Replaced the fuel line from the pump to the accumulator that was cut by the PO.

I put the Miata battery in and it cranked over, coughed a few times and then lost all power. It seems like it blew a fuse but it is too dark to work outside now so it will have to wait.

Is there a main fuse on these? Of course with the wiring in the shape it is I wouldn't doubt that it is something else. At first I thought the battery was dying but there was no power at all, fuel pump wouldn't run, etc. When I put it back in the Miata it started right up.

Next step is to get a dedicated battery for the Saab and do some more troubleshooting along with putting the clutch in so I can move it into the garage when I get it started.

No main fuse, I'd vote for disconnected main wire or battery terminal got loose.

The battery terminals were tight, maybe a wire at the battery cutoff switch came loose. I'll have to check it out when I get a battery for it.
