Luke's skills would be wasted at Vermont Sports Car. The other problem when you make your hobby your job is that it often isn't fun anymore. I have a friend who does work like Luke has done for a living and he enjoys it but he works for himself and he has the freedom to build things to his own standards.

What's the throttle body from? How big is it?
Okay, so I'm female and like SAAB's go figure. Mind you, I like a good set of strappy sandal's just about as much though they don't take you thru the corners as fast. LOL

Its a ford throttle body off an early 90's mustang. Its 60 mm or so I think. It was easy to adapt, had the correct TPS to plug and play with the electromotive ECU and didnt have 15 ports to plug off like the original one, thats the main reason I chose to use it.

yeah we are getting there!!!

We are going to try and make a big push this coming weekend, we are very lucky to have a 3 day holiday to use. If anyone is free this weekend or next weekend, we could definitely use every extra set of hands possible!

I thought the TPS was a ford piece that needed to be adapted to the gm weatherpack style connector, or was that just on the old car?

I'd help too, no ones ever asked though. If you are working on Sat, I might be in the general area (D-town) anyway.

Actually I have a wedding to attend this weekend anyway so I'll probably not be able to work on the car much. The following weekend will probably be the big push to get the thing together hopefully.

You call grinding things in the barn until 4am work? That sounds like fun to me, though I do feel like I got hit by a train after this weekend.

Josh is right though, he and Jeremy (and me) have been working OT to try to get this thing ready for the event. Its going to be close but I think we'll make it even if we are still bolting things in at tech.
