So how did you end up getting a supplier to ship you a 500lb tank of LN2?

Thanks for the pics Josh. This cage fits so tight the main hoop had to be pounded into place with a mallet. Only problem is I don't know how I will weld the thing. John dropped by and convinced me that I really need do rear coil-overs on this car. So much for the philosophy of trying to throw a shell together on the cheap from extras and leftover crap from the other car.

you could tab it in like you did your old one...you just wont need very long tabs.

Where did you get the pipe bender from? Did you like it? How did it work out for you?

is that 1.75 x .095?

1.75 x .095 for the 6 points plus 1 door bar. Everything else will be 1.5 x .095

cage work is looking good, we are gunna have to start on that soon...

The tubing bender is an EZ-bend. I really like. I used a williams lowbuck bender on the last cage and this definatly makes nicer bends it but its hard to bend long pieces alone. You really need an assistant or it becomes a balancing act. A air/hydraulic foot pump would be a nice accessory.

what is the linear feet of material you purchased for the 1.75 x .095? I bought 54 feet.

I went with .120 because it was 2/3 the price. the metal suppliers around here don't keep .095 around for some reason, and would have had to order it from the east coast.
