40l fuelcell mounted.
Brakelines done and waiting for fittings.
Rear suspension in place.
A lot of things are just mounted as they are because the car needs to be inspected before I continue the build (to be able to get it street legal in Sweden). After the first "construction inspection", all parts will get a painting etc.

This is awesome. I was waiting to see the rear suspension installed. It looks almost factory. Can you take another picture or two of the suspension mounts? Which Ford did this rear end come from?
Nice polish on the fuel cell, you'll be able to check your hair in the mirror in the trunk!

I think Schwartz should be awarded the " Best Project of the Year ''. All in favor say "hell yes" This is hands down the wildest SAAB modifications I have seen in a long time. Just amazing how wild you can get when you set your mind to it. I can't wait to see more.

Re: '74 X7 Turbo rwd
I can take more pictures, one of the reasons for choosing Ford was the "simple" complete subframe solution. I have two mounting points in the front and one for the differential. The rear suspension is from a scorpio estate -96, which has vented discs, 4x108 bolt pattern and the larger 7.5" differential.
I really don't like the polished fuelcell, thinking about painting it black later on or go for a brushed surface :)
Glad you guys like the project, keeps the motivation up :)

Re: '74 X7 Turbo rwd
A smaller update, still waiting for the propshaft to get finished.
A 9-5 flywheel and clutch which hopefully makes the clutch work without a distance behind the slave cylinder.
Got a picture from a friend who TIG welded the manifold
Reinforced brake pedal with a closed back and three walls between the other sides.
Mounted on a piece of alu with a different bolt pattern to make installation smoother.

Do you have a name for this car, Schwarz? It needs a killer name. If you're into naming your cars.

Looks great! Pedals are going to be tricky with that big tunnel, but I'm sure you'll work it out

Don't have any killer name for it yet, I guess "the 99" will do. The tunnel is wider on the right side so the exhaust will fit, but its pretty tight on the driver side too. The passenger seat mounts are moved 10cm rearwards anyway.
