'Tis a thing of beauty!

Had to google Seattle Seahawks to discover what sport you were referring to! Apparently they play something called football but with a funny shaped ball.

Geez if we're going by those standards with my Eagles I should have built a freakin Mars rover by now

Great work as always, bet you're looking forward to firing it up

I'm not a super die hard football fan, but it is fun when they are winning or have a chance. There are plenty of other thing to do around here. Unlike some place, where football is all there is.
American football is not soccer, but standard America seems to enjoy it more. We just can handle a game that could end in a 0-0 game score.
Well this afternoon felt like building the Mars Rover. You would think attaching V-band clamps would be easy. It is so tight that the assembly operation has a order to get it all to fit. Mating six V-bands that all have a their own happy spot is challenging, but I got it done.

Added a blast shield strip of lava mat with high temp RTV silicone edge seal. Aerospace inspired.

Getting close to firing it up. Schedule delivery of O2 bung plugs and 1/8" NPT plug end of this week. Then it is round two, fire in the hole...

This is going to be too nice to drive when its done. You will have to build a museum for it next.

Thanks folks. Those are what I was hoping for reaction wise with it just sitting there. I'll see what the reaction is when I finally get to hit the loud pedal.
This is no museum piece. Now that it is designed and built, it is time for test and evaluation. Function Art, I'll call it.
Thanks again for the props and the appreciation of the work.

Can appreciate where you are coming from re the 0-0 draw, or no-score bore as it can be known.

Can't wait to hear the test and evaluation.

Some more eye candy. The hardcoat ano placed by the high temp coating on the exhaust.
The tones are very close. Keeps it all looking like it had a common design theme.

RTV the intake to turbo. Not too crazy but enough to keep the dust out.

Put a bow on it, stick a fork it, DONE
Final assembly this weekend. Had to do this multiple times with wastesgates and downpipe as shit was just not lining up.
Perseverance prevailed and everything is in its happy place, and weight on wheels.
Kevin came over and did a second set of eyes inspection and helped get it prepped for a road test.
Post drive photos. Happy camper...

It's a thing of beauty, Dennis!
Any video of it's first start/drive?
I can't wait to see it live!

I guess the A/C system will be gone for evermore? I can't wait to here you take on power and lag and so on. Are you going to dyno the car for some fine tuning ?

The quality of your work is really raising the bar on projects on this forum. I'll soon be ashamed to open the hood on my cars.
Pleas keep the projects coming !!

He could always just go to an electric AC compressor.
