hey guys it's been a while since I posted any kind of update. wanted to say THANK YOU for all the help, I would never have been able to get to this point without you guys and this site.

Beautiful car! What do you use to indicate turns from the front of the car? I don't see any directional lights.

Love it! Did you do anything to the inside? 99's look so great without the bumpers, almost like they are ready to be driven in the water or something, I'd love to remove mine but not gonna do it in this town... I fantasize about finding a set of the steel bumpers and adapting them to my '80. Awesome color too.

thanks guys...never had an issue with the bumpers or turn signals ... if the locals see a nice old car they will not ruin your day but a rusted 1984 POS with smoke emitting from the exhaust is a different story
