Re: 85 hillclimber
The previous owner converted the car back to a every day driver .It was previously a hillclimb club racer from what I gather and was owned by a relatively well known old racing driver . I didnt like it as a daily driver much so after a year or so I started the strip out and replace wiring loom 85 model so as we know it had to be done ! Steering is converted to manual , motor is stock but using modded vacuum capsule 9000 FMI 3 bar regulator red top injectors and rail ,side exit exhaust with no mufflers . Bilsteins , bias valve brakes with 9000 rotors and calipers 3 degrees negative camber ( this may be to much) 225 50 16 semislicks and everything I could of to get the weight out of it short of carbon fiber and plastic windows . Immediate plans are steel diff cover with cooler and Roll cage and a kill switch . For now I'm only able to do hillclimbs as it doubt it meets tech inspection for track days .
Fortunately for me where I live is very hilly so have access to 4 hillclimbs within a 20 minute drive !

Re: 85 hillclimber
No brake booster anymore and pedal feel is somewhat lacking . Will need to go a couple of bore sizes down. I cant be bothered going with a pedal box so a an inline tandem wilwood master cylinder should do the trick and the bias valve can stay beside the hand brake .

I moved the master mount on the brake arm slightly for some more mechanical advantage without the booster. Worked great.
