Re: Rallyho progress
Obviously not Baie or Defi, but Tall Pines is looking better and better.
The car went to NH this past weekend for a few weeks so Brett could sort out the wiring on his own turf.
It's the first time the car has seen the light of day.

Re: Rallyho progress
The car is in Candia (exit 3 off 101) at a friend of Brett's. The guy has a killer shop...I mean killer. The car is being rolled in, worked on and then rolled back out as this is the guys business.
There is definately work to do on the car man...which reminds me...does anyone know the thread size/pitch for the front lower shock mount nut on a 900?

Re: Rallyho progress
Maybe You and Luke (and others) will have your cars together in time to come mount a Saab takeover attempt at the Pagoda Hillclimb in Reading at the end of June. They have a rally class that you guys will be shoe ins for. Im on a mad dash to make my ride ready in time.

Re: Rallyho progress
Luke, all that's left to do is everything!
The list is long..some fab (fuel filler bulkhead, lightbar mount, fr tow hook) some guage wiring stuff, mud flaps, intercom, computer, new windshield, etc.
But, it's driveable...as long as I trust there is oil pressure and the thing isn't boiling over!
I'm aiming for a shakedown in early may, then NEFR.

Re: Rallyho progress
Just weighed the car. With a bunch of tools, Me and Rhys in it...2690.
I weigh 165, he weighs 45...fudge factor...just under 2500.
It did not have a spare or the alum skid plate..steel frame is mounted.
Will definately weigh it "rally ready" but I'm guessing 2550...which for the miles of cage tubes and plating in there...is fine be me.
Now...if I just had a kevlar hood and skid pans.... :)
