It could also get bent pretty easily on the newgens from what i've heard in which case no alignment would be able to make it right.

Looks like the standard saab solid rear axle to me. 900/9-3 is a little different but still "solid" rear axle. The only car with a split rear axle is the 99+ 9-5s... and maybe the new stuff.

okay okay

just assumed that the 9000 was the same
the 9000 does handle more like a c900 than it does a newgen. should have known.

There is no such thing as too low or too stiff.

The new 9-3 has that passive steering system so it actually has ball joints in the back. way to go technology eh?

Oh comeonnnn it wasn't that ba.... ok fine it was awful, I drove that car like a shit...

Oh and every bushing, control arm and ball joint on my NG was original when I sold it with approx 130k on it. I think I may have had a motor mount replaced. But the 9000 wears out rear tires a whole lot for some reason, always seemed to. But I don't drive that car, and I don't know if my dad keeps up with getting alignments or anything.

my 9000 always had issues with the front tires wearing too quickly, the rears lasted at least twice as long.
