Reproducing 99 Turbo Stripe Kit

Thanks for the t-shirts Jason! I love the white one with the 99! I'll be figuring out the stripe situation this weekend. I can't imagine installing just the stripes without the logos - it would have to be the whole thing or save them for another project.

I always thought these would look a bit strange on a 900, but then again, I tend to be a bit of a purist sometimes.

I just wanted to leave the options open with them, so they are done in such a way that you can put them on almost any body style 99-900 whether its a 2 door, 3 door, 4 door, or 5 door.

I think they will look best as with the text on the doors, but wanted to cover that option too. But another benefit is there is a little extra stripe length that could be used to fix a F up. A wise installer will start with a short segment to get the feel of it before bodging a long (door) segment.

I dug through the directory and there are hundreds of pictures. Some cool stuff.

The swoopy one that ends in Saab by the tail light is really cool. I would imagine reproducing that would be straight forward.

I created artwork for a stripe like this, I plan to put it on my 86 8v 900 race car. I never produced a set though as at the time there seemed to be no interest.

What color would you want the stripe to be?


Those other stripes would be too difficult to reproduce, those fades and multi colors make it a challenge. The fades would need to be done digitally or manually printed onto vinyl. Just not something that can be done easily.
