SOC Track Day?

As many of you know, I'm going through a major overhaul/upgrade to my autocrosser/hillclimber, FrankenSAAB. The BSi20 that has served so well over the past few years is going bye-bye to be replaced by a BSi202/212 hybrid motor. Don't know what state of tune yet. Or the tranny...

Why all this work?

Rumor has it there is going to be a track day at SOC07! :D
Support will be needed by all you racer and wanna-be racer-types out there! If I can haul my ass all the way from Idaho, a few of you East-coasters should be able to make it! Every track-worthy 99 needs to be there!
Consider this the big gauntlet throw-down!
I want a squadron of 99's (and maybe some 900's ; ) to inflict some serious whoop-ass on the GM corporate world, to remind those pin heads what SAAB is all about!!! :twisted:

The SOC is the last weekend in August in Detroit MI. There is a persistent rumor that there will be a track day immeditely preceeding the SOC. This is NOT final, nor confirmed. Should hear soon, one way or the other.
Keeping fingers crossed.
Of course, if there is not one, my life will get a whole lot less complicated and
expensive : )
