Hey guys-
Need to pull some borrowed cams out of the rally car...so something needs to go back in.
I have 8 cams (well, 5, one has a snapped lobe), but don't have any idea what they are.
numbers are:
5210-11 9148016 (have two of these)
5210-12 9148016
52108-8 1256190 (I have two of these)
75614 1255440 5210 (someone has marked this intake)
756096 1255440 (someone has marked this exhaust)
5210-1 9256190 (this one is broken)
So, what would be the best thing to put back into the rally car? 2.0 16v with 2.0 head, T5 conversion, header, super blingy K&N air filter.
Thanks!

Re: Need Camshaft ID help
I have a shitload of cams here, that I can't identify either.
Can't seem to find any logic to the marking on them. If someone on here knows I could benefit too.

Re: Need Camshaft ID help
the numbers are super hard to read, but here is a bit of an update on the two that are paint-penned as intake and exhaust
756141 1255440 5210 (someone has marked this intake)
756096 1255440 (someone has marked this exhaust)
The exh might be 756896 1255440...very hard to tell.

Remember the exhaust cams will all have the distributor drive notch, the intakes won't, if that helps you sort your pile.

ok, so, here is the the thing with these cams....you guys probably all know this, but they appear to all be the same! And not just all the intake and all the exh. Other than being 180deg out of phase, the base center and lobes all measure the same.
So, there ya go.

Re: Need Camshaft ID help
I had seen that before,
Some of my cams have shitty PN stampings that are difficult to decipher. Some have 2-3 different numbers on them. Some have numbers that match up to nothing.
I probably should have tagged them when I took them out.
