I'm having 5 shipped over that should leave Sweden next week. 3 sets are spoken for, but the rest will be available for purchase if anyone is interested in them stateside. All the overseas shipping, import tax, broker fees etc will have paid...in fact you may get free shipping on your order;) :yay:

LeMons racing does not pay well at all :(

eEuro has purchased them for resale, but not really for profit. I knew at least a few of us, including myself, wanted one. I figured I could save on shipping and import fees and then distribute from here. One is prepaid for , the other two are held for SAABRally VIPs ;) . I know it is something that someone will want eventually.

Anyone on here have a 4 speed that would be a good candidate for this? I've been looking around some and haven't found much.

One that might still be for sale locally that I almost bought earlier in the year was a G34504. I believe that makes it from a 1981 900. I don't know that it would have the 31/30 primary. Thought?

'81 was the first year of the 5-speed (not sure when exactly) The 4th digit of the gearbox code should be the primary set. a 31/30 is a #4

They really are beautiful, the machining is excellent and I can't wait to put one together! I'm going to grab some of my stock 5 speed parts to show some comparisons. Pascal, yours is all boxed w/ your name on it. I could ship it, but the small chance that something got lost/damaged on the truck would kill me. Hope you can wait another 2 weeks :)

Oh nice! I also see a custom/stronger shift rod, steel selector finger, and it looks like strengthened selector forks.

Geoff, these are the gear teeth I counted. Does it jive with your existing ratios?

Gear # | Cluster Gear Teeth| Pinion Gear Teeth
1 | 16 | 30
2 | 20 | 26
3 | 24 | 25
4 | 27 | 23
