where to buy lesjofors 30mm lowering springs

Postby Sam » Thu Feb 27, 2014 6:42 pm

These seem to be out of stock everywhere for the c900. Anyone know what the story is?

Sounds like they are the same, at least according to these guys:
http://www.partsforsaabs.com/index.php?cPath=2_160_508

I should wait for him to chime in but I thought I remembered Jordan saying something about how eeuro used to be able to get these springs but had problems with the supplier in recent years. :dunno:

I think they are pretty well thought of springs and I personally loved them with a set of Bilsteins so it would be nice to have a US supplier. If you decide to order from partsforsaabs and don't have a/c order one of the one piece radiator hoses, its a good time to avoid paying international shipping on a $20 hose.

The issue seems to be in the us supply chain as i did see them on skandix and pfs. These are cheap springs and i would prefer not to overpay with the shipping. The ng900 version seems well stocked. Maybe they will make more.

There has always been supply problems with them. Although I think they might be available through skandix, we have an order for them through them, but it might take a few weeks. The saabsite has them in their catalog, they may or may not actually have them in stock. Their shipping charges also seem kind of outrageous ,but maybe they are being drop shipped from somewhere else?

I've been pretty happy with my Afco springs and you can pick your own spring rates/spring lengths. Depending on intended usage of course.

I have Lesjofors & Bilsteins, great set-up (tho a bit harsh)
I bought mine from a 3rd party though.
They came with an insert in Swedish, so I assume they were shipped over from the Motherland.

Are you running the SAS overload springs in the rear? Sounds like a nice setup.

We think they are overload coils but I didnt get them from SAS. i currently have a set of the poly SAS spacers in the rear but those need to come out because the rear is a touch too tall.

I have 3 out of the 4 lesjofors. I think just missing the 1 front if this helps you any.

Ended up ordering moog overload coils aka load control which i am convinced are the same as what sas sells at 1/3 the price. So i should be good on fixing the immediate rub issue in the back.

Since im trying to gain a bit of ground clearance i thought i might consider the front lesjofors coils meant for a convertible. Will those give me a bit more height in the front. Research seems to say that the verts weigh around 350 lbs more so im thinking the springs should be beefier. Is that correct?

These came off a yard car. Looked high and low, never found the missing one.
