t-5 map change for slightly larger turbo?

Postby tirediron » Sun Dec 28, 2014 1:18 am

real quick, for those familiar with t-5 tuning.

ive got a '99 9-3 street car with a cookie-cutter t-5 suite stage 3 tune. just acquired a good/free td04, my car has the stock t25 garret unit.

it's only slightly larger, am I good with the fuel curve I have?

my answer is that the turbo mapping will be different (spool characteristics) it should function just fine, but it may not be optimal. What did you find out?
