Looking for recommendations on a brake line flaring tool that will handle all materials including stainless steel and make consistent quality flares. It looks like the Eastwood tool is pretty popular:

Apparently I can't use the search function. I saw that someone had recommended the Rigid flare tool to include SS.
I decided to give the Cal-van flare tool kit a try after finding some decent reviews. I am going to be using Copper-Nickel for my lines.

Besure it can do the correct type of flare and the dies accommodate the correct tubing SAE vs metric. When I did my clutch slave I had to use a metric double bubble. Not sure what the brakes have but worth a double look.

I double checked and the master kit I ordered does all types of flares in both standard and metric:
3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8" Double and Single Flares
4.75 mm, 6mm, 8mm Double, Bubble and Single Flares
Not too shabby for $58 bucks shipped.

I think those are the same design as these
http://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/59206/I ... tric-9214/which I have used, but just on softish brake lines. They worked well on the cunifer line I used.
The rigid type I have for A/N fittings, but is sort of big for most brake jobs.

The kit I bought ended up not working so well, the die broke after my third flare
I am probably going to give the Eastwood tool a shot.
