Does anyone have a list of the nuts, bolts and washers needed for the front and rear suspension?
I realize this is a bit of a stretch but before I go through and do it myself I figured I'd ask if someone had already done it.
I saved everything that survived dissembly, but a lot didn't. I would like to be able to check what I have against what will be needed. Also, I need to decide if it's better to replace or replate what I have.
Does anyone have any suggestions on sources for the hardware, or plating services?

I usually hit eBay, fastenal or https://www.belmetric.com for hardware. The lower a-arms are held on with m12x1.75 nyloc flange nuts, as are the steering rack bolts, and rear trailing arms. I recently replaced all of mine, but could only find them with an 18mm hex. I didn't mind changing to a different size too much since I did all of them. Theres also some m10x1.5 flange nuts, which you could also use on some other m10 stuff that doesn't necessarily have the flange.
I usually just buy new ball joints that come with hardware. http://www.eeuroparts.com/Parts/9840/Ba ... -8993321F/ I'm not sure on lengths of the rest of the bolts though.

The original SAAB hardware is generally pretty high quality with the exception of the late style ball joint bolts which seem to be made of pot metal ( the early fine thread ones were good, but not plated so by now have become one with the ball joint)
There's a local plating shop out here that does a really nice yellow zinc cromate, A 5 gallon bucket stuffed full of bolts and brackets is usually under $100. I've had a bunch of stuff done over the years and it's holding up well.

Thanks for the advise. I got a similar deal, 5 gallon bucket worth of hardware for $100.

Fancy. Just cleaning and degreasing the metal is worth that in time let alone putting a galvanic coating.

Did you clean and sandblast them first or did they do all the prep for you? Looks like there are a lot of plating places in MA. Nothing within 1.5 hours of me in NH though...
The kind of dirty that doesn't wash off
Re: 900 Suspension Hardware List, Source and Cad/Yellow Zink
Jon, No I haven't put the list together. I just plated everything I have... fill the bucket! I noted where everything came from and resorted it after plating. The trouble I face is that the car was missing a lot to begin with, and I've made enough modifications/upgrades to confuse things further.
Geoff, No cleaning necessary, they did the prep.
